QR codes for the counter, the menu and the door.
Pick what the code should open, choose a colour and download it ready to print. Your details never leave this page.
Codes are created on your device, and scans go straight to what the code opens, never through us.
Test it: scan the code with your phone camera before you print.
Printing tips that save a reprint.
A code on a table card should be at least 3 cm wide; on a window poster, much larger, because people scan from further away.
Leave the white border around the code empty. Text or patterns touching it can stop phones reading it.
Use a dark colour on a white or very light background. Light codes on dark backgrounds fail on many phones.
Add a few words such as "Scan for the menu" so people know why to scan, and trust it.
QR code questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes: the link or text is written into the pattern itself, so they keep working as long as the link they point to works. Nothing passes through our servers when someone scans.
Can I change where the code points later?
Not for a static code; you would print a new one. That is why many businesses point the code at a page on their own website and change the page instead.
How does the WhatsApp code work?
It opens a chat with your number on the customer's phone, with your first message ready to send. Enter the number with its country code and without the plus sign or spaces.
Is the Wi-Fi password safe in a QR code?
Anyone who scans the code can join the network, so use it for a guest network that is separate from the one your till or cameras use.
With a plan, your menu and offer pages live on your own website, so the printed code stays the same while ADM Assistant keeps the page up to date.
