Cookie Policy
- Some cookies are needed for the site and app to work; these are always on.
- Others remember your choices, measure visits or support our marketing, and only run if you agree where the law requires it.
- You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits in mobile apps. We call all of these "cookies" in this policy. They help a site work, remember your preferences and understand how it is used.
This policy applies to adigitalmotive.com, our web application and our mobile apps. Business websites we host for our customers use only the essential cookies listed below unless the business switches on analytics or marketing tools, in which case the business is responsible for asking its visitors for consent.
2. The cookies we use
| Type | Why we use them | Examples | Can you turn them off? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choice, fraud prevention | Session identifier, security token, consent record | No, the service would not work without them |
| Preferences | Remembering your language, currency, theme (light or dark) and layout choices | Theme setting, language setting | Yes |
| Analytics | Counting visits, seeing which pages are useful and where people get stuck, measured in aggregate | Privacy-focused analytics identifiers | Yes |
| Marketing | Measuring the results of our advertising and showing relevant ads on other sites | Advertising platform pixels | Yes, and they are off until you agree where consent is required |
The full, current list of cookie names, providers and lifetimes is shown in the cookie settings panel and is kept up to date by our admin team.
3. Your choices
When you first visit our website from a country that requires consent, we show a banner where you can accept all, reject non-essential cookies or choose by category. You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site or app from working.
In our mobile apps, you can control analytics and advertising identifiers in the app's privacy settings and in your phone's operating system settings.
4. Signals we respect
Where the law requires it, we treat the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser as a request to opt out of marketing cookies and any sharing that could count as a "sale" or "sharing" under Californian law. We do not rely on Do Not Track headers, because no common standard exists for them.
5. Updates
We review our cookies regularly and update this policy and the settings panel when anything changes. Questions go to support@adigitalmotive.com.
