Websites, Hosting and Domains
- Every business gets a free address on adigital.page; paid plans can connect their own domain.
- Your website content is yours. You can export it to WordPress and take it with you.
- Domains you register stay in your name; you must keep their details accurate.
- We keep sites fast and secure, but we cannot promise they will never go offline.
- Sites that break the rules can be taken down.
1. Your free address
Each business on ADigitalMotive can publish its website at an address such as yourbusiness.adigital.page. Addresses are given on a first-come basis. We may refuse or reclaim an address that is misleading, offensive, infringes a trademark, impersonates another business or has been inactive since your account closed. When an address is reclaimed, we will try to give notice and, where possible, redirect visitors.
The root of adigital.page is a public directory and a place to report abuse. Listing in the directory is optional and can be switched off in your settings.
2. Custom domains
On plans that include it, you can connect a domain you already own or register a new one through us. When we register a domain for you, it is registered in your name or your business's name as the registrant, through an accredited registrar whose registration agreement you accept. You must keep the registrant contact details accurate, as registries require.
Domain renewal fees may be charged separately from your plan. We remind you before a domain expires. If a domain expires because renewal was not paid, it may enter a grace period and then become available to others; we are not responsible for loss of a domain you chose not to renew.
You can transfer your domain away at any time, subject to registry rules (for example a lock period after registration or transfer).
3. Hosting and performance
We host your website on infrastructure designed for speed and resilience, with a content delivery network, security protection and automatic certificates for secure (HTTPS) connections. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance when it may affect sites. Fair use applies to bandwidth and storage; if a site uses resources far beyond normal business use (for example large video files or heavy automated traffic), we may ask you to reduce it or move to a suitable plan.
4. "Made with ADigitalMotive" badge
Websites on free trials and entry plans show a small "Made with ADigitalMotive" badge linking to our site. On plans that include badge removal, you can hide it in your settings.
5. Export and moving away
You can export your website, including pages, posts, images, menus and basic search settings, to WordPress, and your products to WooCommerce, using the export tool or our paid migration service. Some features that depend on our platform (such as the ADM Assistant, booking engine, uniqueness system or messaging) will not work outside it. Third-party themes and plugins chosen after export are your responsibility.
6. Content and legal pages on your site
You are responsible for the content of your website, including prices, product information, claims, images and the legal pages your business needs (such as your own privacy notice, terms of sale and returns policy). The Service can generate starting drafts of these documents from your answers, but they are general templates and you should have them checked for your business and country.
7. Takedown and suspension
We may take a website or page offline, restrict it or remove content if it breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, is subject to a valid legal complaint, poses a security risk (for example if it has been compromised), or if your account is suspended for non-payment. We will tell you the reason where we can and restore the site once the issue is resolved.
