Messaging Policy
- Only message people who agreed to hear from your business.
- Say who you are, keep it relevant, and make stopping easy.
- Follow WhatsApp and other channel rules; they can block numbers that break them.
- Reminders about bookings, orders and balances must be polite and accurate.
- Message packs and channel costs are shown before you send.
1. Channels covered
This policy applies to all messages you send or ask the ADM Assistant to send through ADigitalMotive, including WhatsApp messages sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform, SMS, email, push notifications and in-app messages to your customers. It also covers how we message you. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and you must also follow the business and commerce policies of each channel provider.
2. Consent comes first
You may send marketing messages (offers, announcements, "we miss you" messages and similar) only to people who have clearly agreed to receive them from your business through that channel. Consent must be freely given, specific and recorded. The Service records how and when each contact opted in, for example through your website form, a QR code at your counter, or a message they sent you.
Service messages, such as booking confirmations, order updates, invoices and payment reminders for an existing transaction, may be sent where the customer has a relationship with you and would reasonably expect them, provided they are not used to sneak in marketing.
Never upload or message purchased, rented or scraped contact lists.
3. What every message must do
- Identify your business by name.
- Be accurate: correct prices, dates, amounts owed and offer conditions.
- Offer a simple way to stop marketing messages (for example replying STOP), honoured immediately and automatically.
- Respect quiet hours in the recipient's time zone; the Service avoids sending marketing late at night by default.
- Keep frequency reasonable; the Service limits how often the same contact receives marketing.
4. Payment reminders
Reminders about money owed to your business must be truthful, respectful and lawful. They must not threaten, shame, contact third parties about the debt, or misrepresent legal consequences. They show your own payment methods; we never collect the money. Local debt collection rules may limit how often you can send them, and you are responsible for following those rules.
5. Message costs and limits
Messaging providers may charge per message or conversation, and those costs vary by country and type. Your plan includes the message allowance shown in your account; additional messages require a message pack. The cost of a campaign is shown before you send it. Providers can change their prices and rules, and we may need to change allowances or features in response.
6. Quality and enforcement
Channels monitor complaints and block rates. If your messages receive high complaint or block rates, we may pause your messaging to protect your number and other businesses on the platform. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to permanent loss of messaging features. Providers may also act independently against your number or account.
7. How we message you
We send you service messages about your account, security and billing on the channels you use. We also send tips, reports and offers about ADigitalMotive, which you can turn off in your notification settings at any time.
