Track customer credit and balances owed
See who owes you, record part payments and send gentle reminders you approve.
2 min read · UpdatedMany small businesses let regular customers take goods now and pay later. Customer credit keeps a clear record of who owes what, so you no longer depend on a notebook or memory.
Add an amount owed
- Open Customers and choose the customer, or add them with a name and phone number.
- Tap Add credit, enter the amount and a short note, such as what they took.
- Save. Their balance updates straight away.
You can also tell the assistant, for instance "Tendai took goods for $15 on credit". It shows you the entry before saving it.
Record a payment
When the customer pays some or all of what they owe, open their record and tap Record payment. Enter the amount received. The balance goes down, and the payment appears with today's date in their history. Customers pay you directly in whatever way you agree; we only keep the record.

- The Owed to you list shows every customer with a balance, largest first.
- Each customer's history lists every amount added and every payment, with dates.
- Your weekly report shows the total outstanding and how it changed.
Polite reminders
Choose how often you want to be prompted about older balances. When a reminder is due, the assistant drafts a short, respectful message and waits for you. Edit the words if you prefer your own tone, then approve or skip it. Reminders only go to customers who agreed to receive messages from you, and each one tells them how to stop.
