Use your own web address (domain)

Every website starts on a free address. On Pro and up you can use your own web address (also called a domain), like yourbusiness.com: connect one you already own, or get a new one through us. On yearly plans one new address is included; on monthly plans you can buy one at cost.

If you already own a web address

1. Open Website → Address and choose Connect an address I own.
2. Type your address, for example yourbusiness.com.
3. We show two records to add at the company where you bought it. If you are not sure how, tap Ask the assistant to guide me or share access with our team.
4. When the records are found, we switch your site to the new address and add the secure padlock automatically.

If you want a new web address

Choose Get a new address, search for a name, and confirm. It is registered in your business's name, and we remind you before it needs renewing. On a yearly plan it is renewed for you while the plan continues. A few names cost more than usual; you see any extra price before you confirm.

Your free address keeps working and forwards visitors to your new one.
