Set up your Google Business Profile

Your Google Business Profile is what people see when they search for your business or for businesses like yours nearby.

  1. Open Google → Profile and tap Connect Google. Sign in with the Google account you want to manage the profile with.
  2. If a profile already exists, we help you claim it. If not, we create one with your name, category, address, hours, phone and website.
  3. Google asks you to verify that you run the business, usually by video, phone or post. Follow the steps Google shows; this can take a few days.
  4. Once verified, we add photos, services and posts, and keep your hours updated, including holidays.
CarefulUse your real business name and address. Adding keywords to your name breaks Google's rules and can get the profile suspended.
