Menus and price lists that stay in sync

Printed and digital menus that follow your catalogue prices.

2 min read · Updated

Menus and price lists are designs built from your catalogue rather than typed by hand. When an item or price changes, you do not need to remake the design from scratch.

Creating a menu or price list

  1. Make sure your items and prices are in Website → Products. Services with prices count too.
  2. Ask the assistant, for example "make a menu for the counter, A3, with our drinks and snacks".
  3. Choose which categories to include and the order they appear in.
  4. Review the preview and approve it. Screen and print files are saved in Design → Files.

What happens when a price changes

Update the price once in your catalogue. Your website updates when you approve the change. Each menu built from the catalogue is marked Prices changed, and the assistant offers a refreshed version for you to check. Nothing is replaced until you approve it.

Why we ask firstA printed menu on your wall still shows the old price until you reprint it. Asking first lets you decide when to switch, for example at the start of the month.

Digital menus with a QR code

You can also publish the menu as a page on your website and print a QR code for tables or the counter. Customers scan it and always see your current prices, because the page reads straight from the catalogue.

Items that are not available

  • Mark an item as out of stock to remove it from the digital menu until you switch it back.
  • For seasonal items, ask the assistant to make a separate seasonal menu so your main one stays the same all year.

Need menus in two languages? Ask for both and they will share the same prices.
