Read your Website Care health report

What the health score means and which items deserve your attention first.

2 min read · Updated

Once a site is connected to Website Care, we check it regularly and turn the results into a health report. Open Care → Reports and choose the site to see the latest one.

The health score

At the top is a single overall score. It sums up how the site is doing across several areas, weighted so that serious problems lower it more than small ones. Use it to spot trends: a falling score tells you something has changed, even if the site still looks fine to visitors.

What the report checks

  • Uptime: whether the site was reachable, and any periods when it was down.
  • Security: outdated software, known weaknesses and certificate expiry.
  • Speed: how quickly key pages load on a phone connection.
  • Backups: when the last successful backup ran.
  • Search basics: missing page titles, broken links and pages Google cannot read.

Reading each item

Every finding has a colour and a plain explanation. Red items need action soon, amber ones should be looked at, and green ones are fine. Under each red or amber item you will see what it means for your visitors and what we suggest doing.

  1. Start with red items, especially anything under security.
  2. Tap Ask us to fix this on any item covered by your plan.
  3. Check the next report to confirm the item has turned green.
TipCompare this month's report with the previous one using the date picker. It shows which items were fixed and which are new.
Good to knowThe report reflects what our checks can see from outside and through the connector. It is a strong guide, not a guarantee that a site has no other issues.
