Billing, Refunds and Cancellation
- Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- The free trial needs no card; you choose a plan only if you want to continue.
- Upgrades apply straight away; downgrades apply from the next billing date.
- You can cancel any time in your account. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refund rules are set out below, and your local consumer rights always apply.
1. Who bills you
Subscriptions to ADigitalMotive are sold by A Digital Motive. Payments may be collected by our payment partner, Paddle, acting as reseller or merchant of record. In that case the partner's name may appear on your card or wallet statement and on your receipt, the partner calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT, and the partner's buyer terms apply to the payment transaction. Your contract for the Service itself remains with us under the Terms of Service.
2. Prices and currencies
Prices are listed on our Pricing page and at checkout. We show prices in your local currency where we support it, and they may differ between countries. Depending on your country, prices are shown with or without tax; the checkout always shows the total before you pay. Your bank or wallet provider may add its own currency conversion or international fees, which we do not control.
3. Free trial
Each eligible plan can be tried free for the number of days and with the limits shown when you sign up (currently 7 days). A trial does not require a payment card unless stated at sign-up, so it does not turn into a paid plan automatically. Near the end of the trial we remind you to choose a plan. If you do not, your account becomes limited, your published website may show a notice, and your work is kept for 30 days so you can return. One trial is allowed per business.
4. Billing periods and renewal
You can pay monthly or yearly. Yearly billing is offered at the discount shown at checkout (currently 2 months free). Fees are charged at the start of each period. Your plan renews automatically for the same period length at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. For yearly plans, we send a reminder at least 7 days before renewal.
5. Upgrades, downgrades and add-ons
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You pay the difference for the rest of the current period, calculated pro rata, and the new price applies from the next renewal.
- Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date. Before then, you can keep using your current plan. If the lower plan has smaller limits (for example fewer pages, branches or designs), you will be asked which items to keep active.
- Add-ons such as design packs, message packs, extra branches or expert hours are charged when you buy them. Packs bought for a month expire at the end of that billing period unless stated otherwise.
- Usage limits reset at the start of each billing period. Unused allowances do not roll over.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we and our payment partner retry it over the following days and remind you to update your payment method. If payment is still not received after 7 days, we may limit your account to read-only. Your website stays online during this period wherever possible. If the balance remains unpaid after 30 days, we may suspend the account and its websites.
7. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan and billing in the app or on the web, or by asking the ADM Assistant to cancel. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your account moves to a limited state, your website is taken offline or shows a notice, and you can export your content for 30 days before it is deleted.
8. Refunds
We want you to be satisfied, and the free trial lets you try the Service before paying. After you pay:
- Monthly plans: fees are non-refundable for the current month, except where the law requires a refund or where we fail to provide the Service.
- Yearly plans: you may request a full refund within 14 days of the first yearly payment. After that, yearly fees are non-refundable for the current year, but you can cancel to stop renewal.
- Add-ons and expert work: refundable only if not used or not started.
- Service failures: if the Service is unavailable for a significant period through our fault, we will offer a credit or refund in proportion to the time affected.
- Your legal rights: if you are a consumer in a country that gives you a cooling-off period or other refund rights that cannot be excluded, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
To request a refund, contact support@adigitalmotive.com with your account details. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within the time your bank or wallet takes, usually 5 to 10 working days.
9. Taxes and invoices
Invoices and receipts are available in your account and are emailed to the billing contact. If your business is registered for VAT, GST or a similar tax, you can add your tax number to your billing details so it appears on invoices and, where the law allows, so the reverse charge applies.
10. Promotions and founder offers
Discounts, coupons and founder offers apply only on the terms stated with them, cannot be combined unless stated, have no cash value, and may end at any time without affecting discounts already applied to your account for their stated duration.
11. Changes to prices
We may change prices for future billing periods. Existing subscribers receive at least 30 days' notice before a higher price applies to them, and can cancel or change plan before it takes effect.
